Why have a Medicine Olympiad?

The medical field has a huge appeal to young people, but the level of knowledge about the possibilities for training and work in healthcare areas is still underexplored in basic education. This also impacts the process of choosing a specialization because in many cases there is not adequate reflection on medical trends and the importance of other skills for success in the career (e.g., fluency in technology, economics, or management).

Science olympiads have already demonstrated themselves as great tools for deepening knowledge and developing new skills, and Vitalis takes advantage of the 20 years of experience from the Vertere Institute in olympiads to offer an innovative and engaging learning experience for its participants. The questions are connected to the most modern aspects of medicine, education, and technology, covering different aspects of medical careers at different levels of expertise.
